1. C M - XXXX Installing Your Steri - Trac 2 ® Sensor 1 ChemDAQ® Steri - Trac ® Sensor Exchange Instructions Document XXXXX Please Do Not D iscard. This information pertains to SteriTrac 2 and 2+ utilizing E - cells when replacing the sensor. Time Sensitive PLEASE INSTALL YOUR SENSORS PROMPTLY - on the day or the day after receiving them. The sensors are on internal battery power with limited shelf life. As per the terms of the Sensor Exchange Program (SXP ® ), please return your old sensors to ChemDAQ within 10 business days. (15 business days for international customers.) Thank you for y our prompt returns!

3. C M - XXXX Installing Your Steri - Trac 2 ® Sensor 3 For Sensors Connected via Bluetooth Wireless (A detailed explanation of the Bluetooth interface begins on p. Error! Bookmark not defined. .) 1. Disconnect the old Sensor by doing the following: a. Remove the old Sensor from the Sensor Cradle by lifting the Sensor straight up. (A) b. POWER OFF the Sensor by pressing and holding the POWER BUTTON until the LED turns off. (The NO SENSOR message will be displayed on the Area Monitor until the new Sensor is installed.) c. Unplug the Power Adapter (C) from the Sensor by gently twisting the locking ring counterclockwis e and pulling the connector straight out. 2. Install the new Sensor by doing the following: a. Connect the Power Adapter (C): Insert connector and gently tighten locking ring. b. POWER ON the new Sensor by pressing and holding the POWER BUTTON for about five secon ds, until the LED illuminates. c. At the Area Monitor, access the Bluetooth Interface. (MENU > [Passcode]>Bluetooth) d. In the Bluetooth screen, press SENSOR CONNECTION (D). The Area Monitor will now scan for Bluetooth devices within range and will list their se rial numbers and/or device names on the display. Your new Sensor will be listed by its serial number. If the serial number does not appear, press RESCAN. e. Once you have found the new Sensor’s serial number on the list, use the virtual keypad to select it. ( If the Sensor is #3 on the list, press 3 on the keypad.) Follow the prompts. f. When communications are established, press BACK to return to the Home Display. The Area Monitor might display a “No Sensor” message temporarily. This will clear within a few secon ds after system updating is complete. g. Set the Sensor in the Sensor Cradle (E). The button on the back the Sensor slides between the tabs on the Cradle. h. WAIT AT LEAST TWO MINUTES BEFORE ZEROING. 3. ZERO the new Sensor by following the ZEROING instructions fou nd on p. Error! Bookmark not defined. . 4. Package the old Sensors and RETURN THEM TO CHEMDAQ. Instructions, packing material, and a return - shipping label is provided for your convenience. If needed, let the sensors sit overnight. • Please RETURN your old sensors to ChemDAQ AS SOON AS POSSIBLE using the enclosed shipping label. (Some international customers are responsible for arranging the return shipment of the sensors. Refer to the terms in y our SXP contract.) We know customers rely on the accuracy of our sensor technologies to provide safe working conditions for their em ployees. Therefore, to help insure a high level of accuracy, we have implemented a time - out feature in all of our sensors when the calibration period (including a grace period) has expired. As a reminder, included in your Sensor Calibration Exchange Progr am (SXP) service, a ChemDAQ representative will contact you prior to each sensor exchange, typically at 4 - month intervals (depending upon gas type). Once acknowledgement has been received, your pre - calibrated sensor or sensors will be shipped. When you rec eive your shipment, please return your used sensors ASAP in the same shipping container. A pre - paid, return label will accompany each shipment.

C M - XXXX Installing Your Steri - Trac 2 ® Sensor 2 Sensor Replacement As part of ChemDAQ’s Sensor Exchange Program, the customer will periodically receive a set of calibrated Sensors, usually every four months, depending on the Sensor - type. The customer will install the new Sensors and ship the old ones back to ChemDAQ. For convenience, ChemDAQ provides instructions as well as a pre - paid shipping label for returning the old Sensors. Sensor installation is simple and requires no tools. When installing a new Sensor as part of ChemDAQ’s Se nsor Exchange Program (SXP), follow the instructions included with the shipment of Sensors. The SXP instructions will contain the most up - to - date procedures as well as any special instructions that apply to each Sensor - type. O 2 (Oxygen) Sensors require sp ecial consideration. Please refer to the instructions shipped with the O 2 Sensor when installing and/or zeroing. Please install Sensors promptly - the same day or the day after receiving them. If the Sensors were shipped during very cold or very hot weathe r conditions, let them sit overnight at room temperature before installing. For Cable - Connected Sensors ( See next page for Sensors connected via Bluetooth wireless.) 1. Disconnect the old Sensor by doing the following: a. Remove the old Sensor from the Sensor Cradle by lifting the Sensor straight up. (A) b. POWER OFF the Sensor by pressing and holding the POWER BUTTON until the LED turns off. (The NO SENSOR message will be displayed on the Area Monitor until the new Sensor is installed.) c. Unplug the USB cabl e from the Sensor by turning the connector’s locking ring counterclockwise. Then pull out the connector (B). 2. Install the new Sensor by doing the following: a. Connect the USB cable by inserting into the USB port of the new Sensor. Secure by gently tightening the locking ring. b. POWER ON the new Sensor by pressing and holding the POWER BUTTON for about five seconds, until the LED illuminates. c. Set the Sensor in the Sensor Cradle. The button on the back the Sensor slides between the tabs on the Cradle. (C) d. WAIT AT LEAST TWO MINUTES BEFORE ZEROING. 3.
