Sensor Communication Interface (SCI™)
The SCI is a multi-configurable gas detection and monitoring solution to accurately and reliably detect hazardous gases, such as Ethylene Oxide (EtO), Hydrogen Peroxide (H₂O₂), and Peracetic Acid (PAA) throughout your facility.
The system is designed to communicate vapor readings in the most effective way for your business. The SCI can send data to a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or Business Management System to engage abatement systems or facility alarms, via 4-20 mA or Modbus. Alternatively, the SCI can send data with a ChemDAQ Data Acquisition System (DAQ®) for data logging, alarms and to display readings from up to 32 monitoring points at once to give you a holistic view of gas and vapor levels throughout your facility.

Intrinsically Safe Sensor Connections
The SCI can also be connected to Intrinsically safe sensors such as the EtO, oxygen and explosive gas sensors, via a barrier box using RS-485 communication.
The SCI also features two sets of signal relays to independently control external systems such as remote audio and/or visual alarms. The relays are triggered by the real time gas readings from whichever sensor is connected to the SCI.
Data Acquisition System (DAQ®)
ChemDAQ’s DAQ is an area monitoring and archival computer software solution. The DAQ can sync and centralize data from up to 32 monitoring locations simultaneously, compare all exposure data to occupational exposure limits, and provide historic reporting for each monitoring point.
Remote displays added to ChemDAQ monitors increase safety by warning employees of hazardous conditions before they enter the area. Display a single reading from a specific space on this easy-to-install display.
Remote Video Display
Remote video displays are an extension of your DAQ. The user can choose to highlight certain areas from their DAQ to display on this single, easy-to-read monitor.
