Company Overview

ChemDAQ has been working to eliminate workplace exposure to toxic chemicals for nearly 20 years. Our cutting-edge gas detection systems were initially used in hospitals and medical device sterilization operations in the United States. We have since broadened our reach globally and now serve more than 600 customers worldwide within the healthcare, medical device manufacturing, food and beverage packaging, and protein processing industries.

Our gas detection systems focus primarily on three antimicrobial gases: Ethylene Oxide (EtO), Hydrogen Peroxide (H₂O₂), and Peracetic Acid (PAA). We advocate day in and day out for the safe practices of these chemicals and work alongside government regulatory agencies and trade associations to ensure worker safety.

Throughout our tenure in chemical monitoring, we’ve developed several breakthrough technologies and service-based programs, including:

  • E-Cell, a replaceable sensor module designed to effectively monitor EtOPAA and H₂O₂
  • PAA Sensor, the first-ever sensor specifically designed to monitor and measure PAA
  • VaporAlert, the first and only water-resistant monitoring system to measure PAA and H₂O₂ in the wet areas of plants
  • Sensor Exchange Program (SXP®) - A leading service-based program to routinely ship and equip all ChemDAQ chemical vapor monitoring systems with factory pre-calibrated sensors at regularly scheduled intervals throughout the year to ensure accuracy and reliability of monitoring data
