Accounts Receivable Coordinator

Pittsburgh, PA

ChemDAQ, Inc., a rapidly growing manufacturing company based in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to serve on the company’s Administration team. Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Convert customer quotes to invoices and submit to customers in a variety of requested methods, including email, mail, vendor portals, etc.

  • Generate packing slips from invoices and communicate shipping status internally across multiple departments and externally to the customer.

  • Maintain and update records using ChemDAQ’s customer records database, as needed

  • Submit monthly, quarterly and yearly sales tax returns

  • Serve as the lead for company collections for customers and vendors with past-due invoices

  • Calculate current period and accrued commissions for sales personnel

  • Balance bank statements via Peachtree (Sage 50) daily

  • Maintain chart of accounts

  • Maintain weekly Cash Forecast sheet and create summary reports on weekly basis

  • Collect and manage timesheets for hourly and part-time personnel

  • Process credit card payments and reflect payments in Peachtree

  • Deposit checks and reflect payments in Peachtree

  • Facilitate and manage expense reports and travel reimbursements across departments

  • Work collaboratively among members of the Administration team and assist with other duties, as assigned

Knowledge & Skills Required

The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or business management and/or at least 2 years of relevant work experience. The candidate should be proactive, comfortable working independently as well as in teams, and possess excellent time management skills. Experience with Peachtree/Sage accounting software is preferred.
