All sensors require routine calibration in order to maintain the integrity of the system and the ability to accurately detect their target gas. While most systems require users to perform frequent calibrations on-site, ChemDAQ’s unique Sensor Calibration/Exchange Program (SXP®) helps to ensure a safe work environment by providing timely and consistent factory calibrated sensors for any Steri-Trac® Area Monitor. We perform the necessary, routine calibration of sensors at our factory and coordinate the swap with appropriate personnel at the customer site.
The SXP® program is administered entirely by ChemDAQ. We notify users when their sensors are due for calibration (typically 3 times a year) and ship the replacement calibrated sensors when they are ready to receive them. Customers under the SXP program only need to swap the existing plug-in sensor, package old sensors in the pre-paid shipping container, and ship the package back to ChemDAQ. It takes only a few minutes to hot swap sensors, so there is no extended down-time, no lapse in continuous monitoring of toxic gases. Users recognize maximum safety assurance.
Typical SXP Flow – Repeated every 1-4 months depending on gas type
