Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S)

Health Effects
Irritating to eyes and respiratory tract. Highly toxic, broad spectrum, affecting the nervous system in particular, high concentrations cause almost immediate death, but very low concentrations can be tolerated indefinitely.
RTECS Description:   Reproductive Effector
Carcinogenicity:          IARC/NTC: Not listed as carcinogenic.

Exposure Limits:
ACGIH:          TLV                Ceiling 4.7 ppm (skin)
NIOSH           REL                Ceiling 10 ppm, ceiling 15 ppm for 10 minute exposure
IDLH              100 ppm
OSHA:            PEL                 Ceiling 20 ppm, 50 ppm peak once per 8 hrs
