Hydrocarbons

Properties and Applications:
Hydrocarbons are widely used as fuels both consumer-based and industrial, and as chemical feedstock. Many hydrocarbons also find application as solvents. The main risk of high concentrations of hydrocarbons is flammability, though some are also toxic and carcinogenic.
