Electrochemical sensors for ethylene oxide respond
to a wide range of gases. In hospital applications,
where ethylene oxide is used as a sterilant gas,
alcohols, especially isopropanol and carbon monoxide
are common interferents. ChemDAQ developed the
Spot-On chemical filter with this problem in mind
to filter out these common interferents.
