ChemDAQ’s DAQ™ Central Monitoring System is an easy to use management platform for all your toxic gases. Capable of simultaneously tracking exposure data from up to 8 Steri-Trac® Area Monitors with a user-friendly touch screen interface., the DAQ utilizes ChemDAQ Technology to ather, nalyze,
eport and isplay gas detection data in real time.
Gather
- Continuous communication with up to 8 area monitors.
- Diagnostic features to report errors from each monitor.
- Upload gas concentration % LEL and alarm data from each area monitor in real time.
- Automatic data storage and backup meets OSHA 30 year record keeping requirements.
Analyze
- For ambient air monitoring, calculate and track OSHA time weighted averages from each Steri-Trac® Area Monitor
- Permissible Exposure Limit – PEL
- Excursion Limit – EL or Short Term Exposure Limit - STEL (if applicable)
- Action Level – AL (if applicable)
- For combustible gases, calculate and track % LEL from each area monitor
- For ethylene oxide emissions, calculate and track <1ppmv and 24-hour daily average per EPA NESHAP
- For oxygen depletion, calculate and track % concentration from each area monitor.
- Impending Alerts offer Internal trending to predict when alarm conditions are likely to occur in the near future. This allows you to proactively correct the problem before it becomes critical. Impending Alerts apply to ambient air, LEL and 02 depletion monitoring. Deviation Level is the basis for emissions monitoring.
Report
- Generate reports to analyze historical data. Reporting options include:
- Instantaneous concentration, alarms, time weighted averages
- User defined windows in time
- Graphic features for trend analysis
Display
- Easy to understand color coded graphical display shows the status of each area based on your specific installation.
- For employee safety the DAQ displays each area’s current gas concentration, any acute alarms from the area monitor, current OSHA time weighted averages and any time weighted average alerts.
- For Emissions Monitoring DAQ displays instantaneous concentration, 24 hour daily average, elapsed time average and alarm status.
- Touch screen controls provide a simple yet powerful interface
- Impending alerts to warn of trends and enable managers to proactively avoid exposures that exceed OSHA permitted exposure limits, EPA daily average limits or other established limits.
- By connecting a Remote Video Display to the DAQ system, you can view the same DAQ management screen in the work areas, safety offices, guard shacks, or remote offices so that all personnel can respond to alert conditions should they occur.
